About Yasi Azimi

As an immigrant myself, I remember constantly worrying about how my lack of legal status in the U.S. was going to affect me and my future.
Gaining my permanent residency and subsequently, my U.S. citizenship was one of the happiest moments in my life because I knew my future in this amazing country was secure. My passion is to bring my clients the same sense of joy and relief, and it is what I have been able to successfully achieve for thousands of immigrants, even those who had lost hope that they would be able to obtain legal status.

Many immigrants often find themselves in a position where they are dealing with a previous outstanding deportation order, or criminal issues that they believe will jeopardize their attempts to obtain legal status. However, we have been able to assist many clients with either or both of these issues successfully obtaining their green card. Several years ago, a client came to me who was in removal proceedings due to criminal matters. He had gone to several other attorneys, all of whom told him that he would likely be deported. However, due to the length of time he had already lived in the U.S., and his strong family ties, we were able to argue successfully to the judge that his criminal convictions should not make him inadmissible. Fortunately, we won and he is now a legal permanent resident, on his way to becoming a U.S. citizen.

My desire and passion to help others have also led me to take on complex personal injury cases, where I have been able to obtain large settlements for clients who felt overwhelmed and frustrated going head to head against big insurance companies. A close friend of mine was severely injured in a car accident, and I saw firsthand the struggles and challenges he faced in navigating the legal system. Witnessing his pain and frustration motivated me to dedicate my legal career to helping others who have been similarly affected by personal injuries. Our firm handles a wide range of personal injury cases – from auto accidents, to slip and falls, dog bites, and wrongful death.
